One-day excursion to Thessaloniki By bus

Thessaloniki, a multicultural city, inspiration for many songs, is a nearby unique destination. Whoever visits it is enchanted by it countless attractions and distinct characteristics.

The nymph of Thermaikos and the town of Agios Dimitrios never ceases to amaze visitors with the invaluable heritage of the ancient (and not so ancient) attractions!

During our visit to the city, you will have the opportunity to admire the castles (Ano Poli - Upper Town), see the Byzantine church of Agios Dimitrios, the Arch of Galerius (Camara) and the Rotunda, the White Tower, the statue of Alexander the Great and the historical centre. If you wish, you may also visit the Archaeological Museum.

Then there will be free time, for all of us to taste the magical flavours of this gastronomic metropolis, in one of the fine restaurants or ouzo bar, enjoy our coffee in one of the quality cafés with a view of the city centre, and take a walk in its diverse and sophisticated market, thus covering the basics of what its visitors are looking for!

Timetable

08.00 Departure of the bus to Thessaloniki. Clients may take the bus from various points of Cassandra / Sithonia.

09.45 Arrival in the centre of Thessaloniki and beginning of the city tour.

11.45 End of city tour and free time.

15.30 Departure from Thessaloniki and return to Chalkidiki at around 17.00
